Enough now!

The Bible teaches us to think good of each other and give God glory He is due. The time people start to forget who God is, and what He is capable of doing, all sorts of evil thought are put to action with out any check. When wicked rulers take positions, every act of wickedness gets approval and good practices left without rewards or even get criminalised.

The hard part is that their wickedness are hidden behind politics they run or responsibilities they carry. And their actions seem to be only system driven. As a result, even innocent people are caught up by their snares and find promoting their agenda.

But God who is above all power, above all authorities, above all kings and kingdoms will at some point show up to stop them. The LORD makes himself known, executing judgment (ps. 9:14-15).

In our today’s daily Bible verse, we read what happens when God says “Enough now!” in action. Because God saw all the wickedness and heard prayers of the humble ones, he brought Haman’s power to a grinding halt.

He has no more time or power to further misuse his power or the system. The king, who oversees the system, is now aware and angry.

“So they hanged Haman on the pole he had set up for Mordecai, and then the king’s anger subsided.” (Esther 7:10).

It was not enough to remove Haman to stop the wickedness and extermination of the innocent but the king found it important to empower Mordecai to reverse the unjustified law decreed by Haman in the name of the king.
Dear friends, God has the ultimate power! He can change things, even at last minute. Blessed are those whose faith are in the Lord!

PRAYER: Dear God, thank you for saving Mordecai and his people, who determined to glorify you above all. Thank You also for the enabling grace that made Mordecai, Esther and others to take steps of boldness and of faith in face of unfriendly situations and kept praying to you rather than wasting time complaining why You let that happened.

Lord, please, help us to always honor Your name, acknowledge You in whatever we do, stand with the oppressed and bring You glory. Fill our hearts and minds with love, compassion and life transforming ideas by that enabling grace of Yours, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God bless you!
